December 21st. Summer Solstice: Join La Susana's summer solstice party to celebrate the longest day of the year. Inspired by Swedish traditions, this event begins at sunset and continues with dinner and dancing, where nature and celebration come together. Dance around a flower-adorned maypole next to the beach bar, connect with the energy of the sun, and wear beautiful handmade flower crowns. Enjoy a buffet feast featuring classic Swedish dishes and Uruguayan specialties, and sip Christiania vodka as the sun sets, the moon rises, and the night unfolds.
December 22nd - Gala Night by Julio Bocca: For the first time at Vik Pavilion, we present an extraordinary evening directed by the renowned Argentine ballet star Julio Bocca, together with dancers from Sodre. A unique performance that blends contemporary and classical dance, introduced with a welcome cocktail to begin the celebration in style.
December 26th - Fish barbecue: Delight your senses at Playa Vik with our exclusive fish barbecue overlooking the South Atlantic; from Mansa Beach to Punta del Este with fishing boats nearby, our chef selects the fish that very morning. Enjoy the delicious food with a glass of VIK wine. The sunset from Cielomar has been described as the best on the planet, and the magnificent stars of the southern hemisphere follow closely behind! December 27th - Grand Uruguayan barbecue:enjoy the most authentic Uruguayan barbecue with delicious family meals in a fantastic setting, where gaucho tradition meets contemporary Uruguayan art in this restaurant open to the public. Lunch and dinner are served overlooking the countryside and the José Ignacio Lagoon. We always serve the freshest food from the market and our gardens! To complete your experience, order the iconic VIK wine from the Millahue Valley.
December 31st – New Year’s Eve: Celebrate the arrival of the New Year at La Susana, the iconic José Ignacio party you can't miss, in the heart of Playa Mansa. The evening will begin with José Ignacio's sunset, followed by an exquisite dinner and a vibrant party until after midnight, with live music and beats from resident DJ Fer de Leo.

José Ignacio, home to JIIFF, combines wide beaches with traditional Uruguayan countryside landscapes.
